Meet Our Leader 

Kris Funk

This all started for me when I was a young boy walking through the neighborhood with a red fuel jug and my father's lawn mower. Many summers were spent knocking on doors and cutting as many lawns as I could. It was in someone's backyard, covered in dirt and grass clippings that I decided that this was what I was going to do. It has always been something I loved doing. But I also knew that I wanted to grow up and join the military. After graduating high school and spending several years landscaping, I did exactly that. I joined the Marine Corps.

After 8 years, multiple duty stations, and many many nights spent away from my wife and children I decided it was time to move on to my next dream. So we sold our house in South Carolina and moved back home to Massachusetts. We planted our roots right here in Charlton and couldn't be happier. 

At Funk Landscape & Design, we believe that our job is part of a holistic process. A creative relationship between client, landscaper, and landscape. With an eye for detail and a passion for hard work, we work together with our clients to ensure that every aspect of their desire for their outdoor space comes to life.
